- Visitors can understand and experience the birth of earth and jewels from the Big Bang of the universe, the definition of jewels, and the crystal structure of gems.
- At the birth of gems corner, a four-minute video shows the method and conditions under which gemstones are created from a scientific perspective under the theme of “gift from earth.” A model of earths mantle is installed on the ceiling that looks like magma flowing out of the earth.
- Touch screen provides detailed information on classification of gems and minerals, and panels and real gems are on display to show the definition of minerals and gems and the crystal structure of gems.
- Visitors can experience physical and optical characteristics of gems through jewelry appraisal machines. At the center stands a structure that looks like an amethyst gemstone which is installed with a monitor playing a two-minute video about the “Mystery of Korean Amethyst”.
